The COB (Centrals Old Boys)

The Centrals Old Boys or better known as The COB is back
for the 2012 Season. Membership of The COB is $20.00 for
the season, which entitles you to a season's pass to all
home games and an invitation to The COB Day - Round 1 vs
Sharks 6th May - where there will be plenty of food and

Gambier Centrals Goes Mobile

version of this website. Presently it is a condensed
version but can have more details added to it, when tme
permits. I am led to believe that it will work on IPhone

Youth For Understanding - Student Exchange Program

Youth For Understanding is a not for profit student exchange organisation. This July
they are inviting teenagers from a variety of countries
to come study at a local school and live with a
volunteer Australian host family for the duration of
their exchanges.
The students will have an interest in soccer and play on a local team. YFU are trying to match the students with volunteer families who are involved in soccer, so that they may be able to go to play or watch games together and have soccer as a common interest with the host family.

Rest in Peace Lou VanDerLey

It is with great sadness that the Gambier Centrals
Soccer Club reports one of the clubs past greats Lou
VanDerLey passed away on 9th April at the Mount Gambier
Hospital aged 68 years. Condolences to his family. His
funeral will be held on Friday 13th April at the Mount
Gambier Crematorium Chapel, Grant Avenue from 3:00pm.

Referee & Linesman Roster

the Referee and Linesman Roster for the first half of
the season. Please ensure all players, coaches and some
parents are aware of their turn. If you are unable to do

Hexcon concrete has come on board as a sponsor of the Gambier
Centrals Soccer Club this season. Remember to use our sponsors
whenever possible. |
Outstanding Registration & Merchandise Money
- Wednesday 4th April
The start of the 2012 season is almost here. The first
game is on Sunday 15th April in Millicent. All
oustanding money for uniform orders and/or registration
fees are to be paid by Thursday 12th April. This season
there is a "No Pay, No Play" policy, unless prior
arrangements have been made with the club treasurer,
Cath Dycer. On Tuesday 10th & Thursday 12th, Linda
Breuker will be available to collect payments for the
Under 14's and Under 17's. On Wednesday 11th, Kim Savage
will be available to collect payments for Under 9's and
Under 12's. Due to the uniform order being delayed with
late orders, they are likely to be 2-3 weeks away.
