Attention all Gambier Central Soccer Members. This Saturday, 28 February at 11:00am, Victors Funeral will be held at
the Carinya Chapel on Grant Avenue. It would be great to see as many Centrals people there as possible to pay our respect
as a club to Victor and his family. If you have a club polo shirt it would be great if you could wear it too.
If you can spare the time, please come.
Regional Round Fund Raiser
Football Federation SA (FFSA) will once again be bringing a PlayStation4 National Premier League Game to Mount Gambier to be held on Saturday 14 March 2015. This year the game will be hosted by International.
The game will feature two of South Australia’s most successful teams, MetroStars current PlayStation4 National Premier League National Champions and Adelaide City, 2014 Coca-Cola Federation Cup Winners and quarter finalists of the Westfield FFA Cup.
The purpose of the Regional Round is to promote and expand football in the regional areas of South Australia. FFSA want the clubs and association to take ownership of this Regional Round and to grow it to a level that will see the whole of the community engaged with the event.
FFSA are providing all WBSA clubs with an opportunity to fund raise through this event. Tickets for the event have been provided to WBSA, the cost of the tickets is $10.00. Clubs have the opportunity to sell the tickets and retain all of the revenue from the sale of the tickets. For example, if Club X sells 200 tickets, the club retains the $2000.00. All of the money from this Regional Round will stay within the region.
FFSA want to work with the clubs and association to make this event a success and input is required from all clubs. FFSA strongly encourages all clubs to contact WBSA to gain their allocation of tickets and by doing so you will not only be supporting the Regional Round but also your own club.
